The event at Blue Hills Country Club benefits JReid Indeed. Founded by New Orleans Saints safety Justin Reid, who won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs, JReid Indeed focuses on supporting disadvantaged youth and communities through interactive programs, community engagement, and technology access. The charity’s three-pronged effort includes access to technology, nutritious food, and sports training and gear. JReid Indeed builds public and private sector partnerships that promote healthy, sustainable communities and help young people thrive in a tech-driven environment.

JReid Indeed seeks to impact underserved and underrepresented communities in Kansas City, Baton Rouge, and Houston.
