CHARITY
The event at The Golf Club at Creekmoor benefits the Deron Cherry Foundation. Founded in 1991 by former Kansas City Chief Deron Cherry, the Foundation raises and directs funds for charities in and around Kansas City including Answering the Call, Midwest Animal ResQ, Camp Quality, and Score 1 for Health. The six-time Pro Bowl safety started the nonprofit because he wanted to give back in the same way a hometown hero allowed the neighborhood kids to play in a gymnasium instead of in the streets.

The mission of the Deron Cherry Foundation is to care for the Kansas City community by supporting local charities.
